I haven’t seen or heard from her. I’m sorry, Abin but…your fleet? You carry the most powerful weapon in the universe on your finger. Why do you have a fleet? What kind of fleet? What could they possibly do but get themselves killed in a battle?

Currently, Abin, and please, feel free to have another, I believe our best course of action is to give them what they want. I will commandeer a ship from a local planet and fly it past the planet’s surface. From there, you can track my ring and I can communicate what is happening.

The book of Oa shows no history of them doing that, or even having been programmed with that ability. However, with the way Manhunters update and adapt, I don’t think we should overlook any possibility.

So far? Nothing. Simply nothing. Which has me worried. Manhunters are machines. They think and act mechanically. Like a hive, they should be always working, something always happening. However I have not seen a sign of any since I arrived.

Does anyone know how to set up my ask box? I haven’t set one of these up in so long…

Millions died in my watch. I know I am worthy of this ring, but have I grown complacent with it? The Guardians let me off without so much as a scolding. Krypton exploded under it’s own force, true, but I could have remedied the situation. Removed the pressure on the core of the planet. Jor-El had contacted me with more than enough time, but it went to the back of my mind due to a conflict in the same solar system. If only I had gotten there sooner.

No more. No more will I wait to act. I will not hesitate. I will be the Green Lantern I was meant to be. The Lantern I know I can be.

I have failed. Millions have died. I must somehow atone for my failings. I swear, upon my ring, no others in my sector will ever fall because I was not there, or not good enough. I will be better and more vigilant than ever.
